Use this friend finder application to easily get their current location! It is just at your fingertips by sending SMS, it’s easy!
Follow the steps below:
1) Use your phone to trigger an SMS to the service.
Send an SMS “FIND <Phone No.>” to shortcode 22001
Example: Find 0121234567
After successfully sending an SMS, you will receive a message saying that your request has been sent to your loved ones as shown in example below:
RM0.00 FF: Permission req sent to ****234567 Once s(he) replies OK, you can find him/her, send FIND ****234567 to 22001
2) To obtain the permission from your loved ones. You can guide them or help them with the steps:
Your loved ones will receive an SMS content like below:
RM0.00 FF: ****677889 wants to add you in the LIST. To accept send OK ****677889 to 22001.
To grant permission, they will need to reply with the command below:
Send SMS “OK ” to 22001.
Example: OK 0166677889
3) You will then receive an SMS indicate the permission has been granted to you and allow you to get your loved ones’ location.
RM0.00 FF: ****234567 has allowed you to find his/her location. Send FIND ****234567 to 22001
Next, you will receive an SMS about the wherabouts of your loved ones like below:
RM0.30 FF: ****234567 is near KLCC Convention Center, WP KUALA LUMPUR @ 18:19. For periodic find, send HELP AUTO to 22001.
There you go! Now you can start searching for the location of your loved ones. Just repeat the first step to get the latest location.
