Good news! Now we can also use the Friend Finder service via UMB (USSD Menu Browser) to track em!
1) Dial *200# (Shortcut *200*2*2*1#)
- Select option 2 for “Social”.
- Then, choose the option 2 for “Friend Finder”.
- Next, select option 1 to “Find your friend”.
- Enter the Mobile Phone Number of the person whose location you want to find.
If success, you will receive an SMS like below:
RM0.00 FF: Permission req sent to ****234567 Once s(he) replies OK, you can find him/her, send FIND ****234567 to 22001
2) At the same time, your friend will receive an SMS like this:
RM0.00 FF: ****677889 wants to add you in the LIST. To accept send OK ****677889 to 22001.
They have to send an SMS “OK <Your Mobile Phone Number> to 22001.
Example: OK 0166677889
3) You’ll then receive an SMS showing your loved one’s location:
RM0.00 FF: ****234567 has allowed you to find his/her location. Send FIND ****234567 to 22001
Seterusnya anda akan menerima SMS tentang keberadaan orang tersayang seperti yang berikut:
RM0.30 FF: ****234567 is near KLCC Convention Center, WP KUALA LUMPUR @ 18:19. For periodic find, send HELP AUTO to 22001.
Done! Now you can start tracking the location of your loved ones. Just repeat the first step anytime to get their latest location.
